Chefchaouen:The Olive Tree by Mgsblade Chefchaouen:The Olive Tree by Mgsblade
Another shot of the town called Chefchaouen (abbreviated Chaouen), in Morocco, also known as the blue city because of its brightly coloured doorways and white washed walls!

Thank you, it was an amazing place! the entire town was painted white and blue

I really wish more governments would do this more often, im sure it would improve the the mental health of the population, as well as making the place more inviting to tourists.

Watercolor is in progress on this. I posted it. Yes! Now that makes sense. Aesthetics makes for good mental health! It's true!

Wow, it's fairy tale-ish-ly beautiful. The lights in this and in the "Red man" picture look like they were painted in watercolors.

I have enjoyed watching this series of Chefchaouen unfold. The brilliance of the whitewashed buildings is striking - cool yet blinding. B-)

yes it must have. It's interesting, I wonder what that tree would have seen in it's lifetime. Thats just me being philosophical. :) Great photo!

Another interesting shot! This one as crisp as it can be. I love the contrast between the cool shadows and seemingly hot sun drenched walls.

But the olive tree really caught my eye! I mean, it's huge! How old could that tree be? And does it bear olives? It must be nice to live in the shade when the temperatures rise, huh?

I can really picture myself sitting there with a glass of tea discussing whatever matters that concern me. Lovely shot!

From the cold north of Sweden.

LOL thank you very much! you get that easy/laid back feeling all over Morocco, I actually prefer it over the hyperactivity of major cities like London(even though it has its own magic)

I agree. I guess I'm more fond of a calm environment where you actually can talk to another. Sure, big sprawling cities can be interesting but after a while it becomes too intense.
