Seville: Window Light

I feel like I've drawn this out for so long, I should have posted all the pictures months ago, but I've been so busy with other projects that I got lazy at the thought of posting last of the ! so after this Spanish series I will post shots from my trips to Rome and Mecca.

this isone of the rooms on the ground floor in the Alkazar of Seville Im kinda disappointed with it as it looks a bit out of focus, shooting here was so difficult with all the people wondering around and also the lack of a tripod!

"The Almohades were the first to build a palace, which was called Al-Muwarak, on the site of the modern day Alcázar. The palace is one of the best remaining examples of mudéjar architecture. Subsequent monarchs have added their own additions to the Alcázar."

information of note that i'd like to mention, is that a lot of the Islamic decoration that you see in the modern palace was actually created during Christian rule, apparently Gothic want really popular for palaces, and the palace grounds where not accessible to the general public, so the church (& inquisition) couldn't do anything to the monarchy!
