One of the many courtyards of the Alkazar of Seville; "The Almohades were the first to build a palace, which was called Al-Muwarak, on the site of the modern day Alcázar. The palace is one of the best remaining examples of mudéjar architecture. Subsequent monarchs have added their own additions to the Alcázar."
information of note that i'd like to mention, is that a lot of the Islamic decoration that you see in the modern palace was actually created during Christian rule, apparently Gothic want really popular for palaces, and the palace grounds where not accessible to the general public, so the church (& inquisition) couldn't do anything to the monarchy![link]
