A friend and I decided to visit some of the holy sights of Jordan, This is what you see when visiting the almost hidden resting Place of the Prophet Asher; brother to the Prophet Joseph as well as father to one of the twelve tribes of Israel!

We had to take a dirt path off a main road-up a VERY small ascending winding road to reach this place, and oh! how green it was! so beautiful! Midway up the hill is a small square building that is used as a mosque and behind that, below the ground in a quiet cave is the Prophet's resting place.

Shading the entrance is an Eight hundred year old tree and a younger beautiful blossoming fig tree, with its petals falling ever so gently to the ground...

it certainly looks beautiful...and well worth the trek to get there. The white and the green of the trees really offset each other
