For those of you who are still around

here are five fun questions for you to answer!
1. Given the choice of anyone in the world, whom would you want as a dinner guest?
2. Would you like to be famous? In what way?
3. Before making a telephone call, do you ever rehearse what you are going to say? Why?
4. What would constitute a "perfect" day for you?
5. When did you last sing to yourself? To someone else?
Try to answer the questions yourself before reading my answers!
2. As a kid I wanted to be famous - actor, singer, sports whatever... now I don't at all and I am glad I am not all over the net.
3. Only if I expect an answering machine. And sometimes when I expect to speak to somebody in person and the machine answers I hang up...
4. Spend 24hrs and 1 additional minute with the ones I love most. No interruptions, no concerns - just beeing together.
5. To a birthdaykid last week. To myself: every night before falling asleep
you don't wanna hear me
I don't know.
2. Would you like to be famous? In what way?
No, I don't think so. I would settle for being at peace. I enjoy bringing people's best abilities to the front while remaining hidden, and making things work out without people knowing what I'm doing. It's how I am. I like to see it all work. I'd be horrified if people tried to be grateful to me. I'd feel as if I'm doing it for the sake of compliments. And that I'd be expected to keep doing it, after that.
3. Before making a telephone call, do you ever rehearse what you are going to say? Why?
Yes! I hate telephone calls.
4. What would constitute a "perfect" day for you?
A day where I can sleep loads, wake up and write, eat good food, talk to a few friends and then go back to sleep.
5. When did you last sing to yourself? To someone else?
... Now? I am singing Linkin Park out loud.
I suppose you'd need a degree of fame in order to have people trust you to be able to bring out the best in them! actually on a second read you sound like a master spy LOL
Hmm! My favourite author is dead. Two of them, actually. Roger Zelazny and Diana Wynne Jones. The other ones I like are Patrick Rothfuss and Robin Hobb. I would hate having dinner with Patrick Rothfuss, he's a very funny guy and I'd bore him to tears. I wouldn't want to influence him. His work is fabulous already. As to myself, I am influenced all the time.
Ah, no. You can, in the course of your every day life, do all sorts of little things that allow people to come to the front, or to go to their full potential. Sometimes it's just a matter of getting them in the right situation. Sometimes it's just saying the right word to them to make them realise that actually, they can do such and such.
Think of it as the person greasing up the cogs and chains in a huge engine or mechanical system.
OH man you are such a spy! hahaha
